I.  Use of Terms

1. Website Visitor:

   1. a fully capable natural person, i.e. a person, who has attained the age of majority, and whose legal active capacity is not subject to any court restrictions;

   2. Legal person;

   3. properly authorised representatives of all the above persons.

2. UAB “Skanėja” accounts – accounts of UAB “Skanėja” on Facebook and in other social networks, where information about UAB “Skanėja” and its production is provided, and the announced posts of the website visitors are reposted.

3. Cookie is a small file sent to the device when any of the Website Visitors is visiting the website www.skaneja.lt. This notion covers not only cookies, but also the use of similar means (for example, “Flash” cookies (Local Shared Objects))

4. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject) who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to such personal data as name, surname, identification number, data of the place of location, IP address or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

6. Privacy Policy means this document, which specifies the main rules of personal data collection, processing and retention while using the Internet website www.skaneja.lt.

7. IP address shall mean a unique number provided to any computer connected to the Internet, which is known as the Internet Protocol (IP) address. Whereas these numbers are usually provided according to the country’s blocks, IP address can be usually used to identify the country, where the computer connected to the Internet is used.

UAB “Skanėja” (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”, “We”) respects the right of all the visitors of its website www.skaneja.lt (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) to privacy and undertakes to assure protection of their personal data and the enforcement of their rights as data subjects.

9. This Privacy Policy regulates the main principles and procedures of the Website Visitors’ data collection, processing and retention.

It is very important to thoroughly familiarise with this Privacy Policy, since every time you visit www.skanėja.lt, we will process your personal data on the Internet website under the conditions described in the present Privacy Policy. 13. When providing links to Internet websites of other companies and organisations, we do not bear the responsibility for the contents of these Internet websites and/or their methods of assurance of privacy policy, therefore, before providing information about yourself, you should first familiarise with the rules, privacy policy and other documents of a respective website.

14. The website may contain a link to Facebook or other social networks. By clicking on the link, you will open a window of a social network, to which this Privacy Policy does not apply. In order to obtain the information about the terms and conditions of use of Facebook or another social network, please, familiarise with their privacy policies.

IV. Principles of personal data processing

15. We adhere to all of the following personal data protection principles:

    1. To process personal data in a lawful, fair and transparent manner (the principles of lawfulness, fairness and transparency);

    2. To collect personal data for established, clearly defined and lawful purposes and not to process it further by means incompatible with these purposes (the principle of purpose limitation);

    3. To assure that the processed personal data is adequate, proper and intended only for the achievement of the purposes for which this data is processed (the principles of minimisation of personal data);

    4. To assure that personal data is accurate and updatable if necessary; to take all justified measures to assure that the personal data, which is not accurate, is immediately deleted or corrected with regard to the purposes of processing of this data (the principle of accuracy);

    5. To retain the personal data in such a form, so that the identity of data subjects can be established for a period not longer than it is necessary to achieve the purposes for which the personal data is processed (the principle of the retention period), but not shorter than it is provided for in respective legal acts;

V. Processed personal data, purpose and grounds for data processing

16. We collect and process only adequate and suitable personal data, which we need while pursuing the goals for which this data is processed.

17. When responding to your questions, comments, offers, claims (for example, in the Website section “Write us”) we collect and process the following personal data: Your name, e-mail address.

18. Your personal data is collected only for established, clearly defined and lawful purposes specified in paragraph 17 of this Privacy Policy and are not further processed by means incompatible with these purposes.

19. We assure that your personal data is collected and processed only on legal grounds:

    1. upon your consent to process your personal data;

    2. in implementing the requirements of the applicable legal acts;

    3. in assuring the fulfilment of our legal interests aimed at improving your experience of browsing the Website;

    4. upon an instruction of state authorities.

20. You can always refuse to provide us your personal data aimed at the implementation of the purposes specified in paragraph 17. In this case these purposes will not be achieved.

VI. Transfer and retention of personal data

21. Your personal data is transferred only to reliable third parties and only to the extent it is necessary to achieve the purposes of your personal data processing or to implement our legal obligations:

    1. to companies providing courier services, which deliver goods to the addresses specified by you and with which we have concluded agreements;

    2. to the Post of Lithuania;

    3. to law enforcement institutions in accordance with the procedure prescribed by legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania;

    4. to state authorities and courts when such an obligation is provided for in the applicable legal acts;

Your personal data is stored for the period necessary for the implementation of the goals specified in paragraph 17, but not shorter than it is prescribed in the legal acts regulating our activities. Your personal data, which is processed upon your consent with such a personal data procession, is processed and stored until the day you revoke your consent.

 VII. Your rights

23. When your personal data is processed for the purposes of direct marketing (i.e. when we offer you our goods and/or inquire about your opinion with regard to the offered goods by post, telephone or another direct method) or on the grounds of our lawful interests, you have the right not to agree with your personal data processing performed by UAB “Skanėja”, which you can use by contacting us regarding the direct marketing or by sending us a request to the electronic mail address skaneja@skaneja.lt or by arriving to our office and submitting a written request.

24. You have the right to familiarise with your personal data processed by UAB “Skanėja”:

    1. e-mailing us the request to skaneja@skaneja.lt;

25. If you have noticed that your personal data is not correct or extensive, and you want to amend or revise it, you can do it in the following ways:

26. You have the right to request us to stop the processing of your personal data or to delete it (“the right to be forgotten”). Your personal data will be deleted upon the receipt of your request.

27. Your personal data will not be deleted from our database if, having received your request, we establish that:

    1. your personal data is required to achieve the goals for which the data was collected and processed;

    2. we are obliged to process your personal data under the legal acts of the European Union and the national legal acts;

    3. we are required to process your personal data with regard to the lodging, implementation and protection of a claim.

28. You may submit a request to delete your personal data by:

29. You have the right to limit our possibilities to process your personal data. If you limit your personal data processing, we will not be able to perform any actions with your personal data except for personal data retention. You can limit your personal data processing under at least one of the circumstances:

    1. Your personal data is not correct (in this case, personal data processing actions will be limited until the personal data accuracy is verified);

    2. Your personal data is processed illegally, yet you do not agree with the deletion of your personal data;

    3. We do not need your personal data for personal data processing purposes, yet your personal data is required in order to lodge, implement or protect legal claims against you;

    4. Your personal data is processed with you objecting to such a personal data processing (personal data processing will be limited until it is verified whether the grounds on which we process your personal data are more important than your objections).

31. You may revoke your consent to your personal data processing at any moment. You can revoke the consent by:

32. You have the right to data portability with regard to the implementation of which you can address us by e-mailing us a request to skaneja@skaneja.lt;

33. You can submit us your requests to fulfil your rights regarding the personal data processing by:

    2. arriving to our office and submitting a written request.

34. We perform your identification according to your name and e-mail address (paragraph 17). If you do not specify this identification data, we will not be able to respond to your questions, comments, offers and/or claims.

35. If you believe that your rights have been violated, you may address the State Data Protection Inspectorate regarding protection of your rights.

VIII. Cookies

36. The Website uses cookies in order to improve your browsing experience. A cookie is a text file, which the website server places on the hard disk of your computer. Cookies are not used to launch programmes or viruses on your computer. Cookies are assigned exceptionally for you, and the web server can recognise them only in the domain, which assigned the cookie for you. We use cookies for the assurance of the Website functionality. You may accept or refuse cookies. The majority of Internet browsers automatically accept cookies, yet usually you may change the browser settings, if you want to refuse the cookies. If you decide to refuse the cookies, you may not be able to use all the functions of the website.

37. We do not collect and safe your browsing history on the website of third persons (if they are in the Website).

38. We use “Google Analytics” in order to analyse the attendance of the Website. “Google” stores the generalised Website attendance data. You may familiarise with Google privacy policy separately. You can forbid “Google” to collect and process data collected by cookies related to your usage of Website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in offered by “Google”.
