Our story
JSC "Skanėja" was established in 1995. The company‘s activity is based on packaging and marketing of cereals and groats.
Company‘s stock includes a wide range of rice: long-grain, parboiled, brown, round, basmati, jasmine, wild rice and others. Due to the high quality and attractive packing our customers choose "SKANĖJA“ brand‘s production. Nowadays "Skanėja“ takes a high stand at Lithuanian market.
Other company‘s products such as cereals, pulses (kidney beans, lentils, chickpeas, etc.) have also become popular with our customers. High demand has full-grain flakes (oats, rice, buckwheat, barley, wheat) and their mixtures. Breakfast cereals, produced by the original recipes created by the company, are also very popular. Breakfast cereals are rich in dried fruits, nuts and other valuable products.
JSC "Skaneja" produces and packs popular quick-cooking porridge. This product is produced by the original recipe, and the assortment is constantly developing.
Currently, the company's product assortment consists of over 160 positions. There are products marked by a well-known brands: "SKANĖJA", "HAPPY FAMILY", "BISTRO", "QUICK & TASTY", "BUON GUSTO". These products are both marketed in Lithuania and exported to Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland.
In the company, the quality management program HACCP and ISO 22000:2018, Food Safety Management System Standard are provided, in order to ensure production quality control.
